Meet Chandra Roush (founder, owner)

Hello!

I am a certified teacher with a passion for helping children succeed academically and emotionally. I began my career in education with a strong commitment to supporting learners during their most important developmental years. As an elementary teacher, I've worked with students across grades Pre-K to 5th, teaching core subjects including reading, writing, literature, mathematics, science, and social studies. I have extended my teaching experience to include grades 6th to 8th in the core subject areas of mathematics, ELA, science, and social studies. Lastly, I currently teach remotely to students in Singapore, India, and Canada.

While in the classroom, I experience how each student learns differently. Some students thrive with traditional instruction, while others need more individualized attention, alternative strategies, and time to build confidence. That realization is what inspired me to create a teaching and tutoring environment where students receive individualized attention and instruction to support their classroom learning and bridge the learning gaps that may occur over summer breaks. I believe that when students feel comfortable and capable, they are more willing to take risks, ask questions, and grow.
